01Acceptance of these terms

We are SB22 Female Health ApS ("the Company," "we," "us," "our"), a Danish company registered with company reg. no. (CVR) 43644858 and address at Ragnagade 7, 2100 Copenhagen Ø, Denmark.

We operate the website https://ryma.health ("the Website") and the WhatsApp-based Ryma service ("the Service"), together with all related products and services that refer to these terms (collectively "the Services").

Ryma is an AI-powered menopause guide delivered via WhatsApp. Ryma helps women track symptoms, identify patterns and triggers, and generate structured reports for medical consultations. Ryma uses artificial intelligence to provide conversational support, pattern recognition, and personal insights related to menopause symptoms and wellbeing.

These terms of use ("the Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "the user") and the Company regarding your access to and use of the Services. By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services immediately.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are communicated via WhatsApp, email, or by updating the "Last updated" date on the Website. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Services.

The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old.

02Service description and health disclaimer

2.1 What Ryma is

Ryma is a conversation-based AI guide that supports women in menopause by:

  • Tracking symptoms through natural WhatsApp conversation (text and voice messages)
  • Identifying patterns and potential triggers over time
  • Providing personal, data-driven insights based on your reported symptoms
  • Generating structured clinical reports for use in medical consultations
  • Sending proactive check-ins and reminders at relevant times

2.2 What Ryma is not, medical disclaimer

Important

Ryma does not provide medical treatment, diagnosis, or medical advice. Ryma is not a healthcare provider, a medical device, or a replacement for professional medical advice.

All AI-generated content, insights, pattern analyses, and reports provided via the Services are for informational and educational purposes only. They may be incomplete or inaccurate in relation to your individual situation.

You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional for personal medical guidance before making decisions about treatment, medication, or health management. In the event of an acute health situation, contact emergency services (112) immediately.

2.3 AI transparency

Ryma uses artificial intelligence, including large language models, to power its conversational capabilities. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated responses may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or limitations
  • Ryma's output is based on patterns in your reported data and general knowledge, not on clinical examination
  • The AI system improves continuously, and its responses may change over time
  • You are interacting with an AI system, not a human healthcare professional

03Data protection and privacy policy

3.1 GDPR compliance

We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Danish Data Protection Act, and other applicable data protection legislation.

Your use of the Services involves the processing of special categories of personal data, specifically health information, per GDPR Art. 9. We process such data on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a)), which you provide when registering for and using the Services.

Full information on how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these Terms.

3.2 WhatsApp and third-party processing

The Services are delivered via WhatsApp, operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. By using Ryma you acknowledge that:

  • Message delivery is subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy
  • Meta processes certain metadata (for example phone numbers, timestamps) in accordance with its own policies
  • Ryma has entered into data processing agreements with relevant third-party providers to ensure adequate protection of your personal data
  • Your health data is stored and processed within the EEA. We do not transfer health data outside the EEA unless appropriate safeguards are in place as required by GDPR Chapter V

3.3 Data retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us or via the mechanisms described in our Privacy Policy.

04User registration and access requirements

To use the Services you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information (including your phone number)
  • Keep your registration information accurate
  • Have a valid WhatsApp account

You are responsible for keeping your account details confidential. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that provide false or inaccurate information, or that violate these Terms.

05Subscription, payment and right of withdrawal

5.1 Subscriptions

We may offer different subscription plans. Information about available plans, prices, and features is published on the Website or communicated at registration. Prices are stated in DKK including VAT.

5.2 Billing and renewal

Paid subscriptions are billed on an ongoing basis (monthly or annually, depending on your chosen plan). Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

5.3 Right of withdrawal

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Danish Consumer Contracts Act, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason.

If you have expressly consented to the Services beginning during the withdrawal period, and have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, the right of withdrawal may not apply to digital content already delivered.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at [email protected] with a clear statement of your decision. We refund all payments received without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal notice.

5.4 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refund is given for partially used billing periods unless required by applicable law.

5.5 Price changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. You will be informed of price changes via email or WhatsApp before they take effect. Continued use after the new price takes effect constitutes acceptance of the change.

06User content

6.1 Your content

You retain ownership of all content you submit via the Services, including text messages, voice messages, symptom reports, and other personal information ("User Content").

By using the Services, you grant Ryma a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, process, store, and analyse your User Content solely for the purpose of:

  • Providing, maintaining, and improving the Services
  • Generating your personal insights and clinical reports
  • Improving our AI models and service quality (solely using anonymised and aggregated data)

We do not sell your User Content to third parties. We do not use identifiable User Content for purposes other than delivering the Services without your separate, explicit consent.

6.2 Content standards

You agree that your User Content will not:

  • Contain false or misleading health information intended to disrupt the Service
  • Include another person's personal or health data without their lawful consent
  • Violate applicable law or regulation
  • Be used to harass, abuse, or harm any person

07Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the Services, including software, algorithms, design, trademarks, logos, and content created by us (collectively "Ryma IP"), belong to or are licensed to the Company.

Nothing in these Terms transfers intellectual property rights to you, other than the limited licence to use the Services as described herein.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the Services or parts thereof, unless permitted by applicable law (including EU Directive 2009/24/EC on the legal protection of computer programs).

08Prohibited activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for purposes other than personal management and tracking of menopause symptoms
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract AI models, prompts, training data, or system architecture
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Services (except via approved APIs)
  • Systematically collect or harvest data from the Services
  • Use AI output from Ryma to provide medical advice or treatment to others
  • Share your account details with third parties
  • Upload or share false, misleading, or harmful health information
  • Circumvent or interfere with the security features of the Services
  • Use the Services in a way that violates applicable law

09Third-party services and content

The Services may integrate with or link to third-party services, including WhatsApp (Meta), cloud hosting providers, and potentially clinical partner platforms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

If in the future we introduce integrations with clinical partners, laboratories, or other healthcare providers, such services will be provided by independent third parties under their own terms and conditions.

10Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, and subject to the limitations below:

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services is limited to the amount you have paid to Ryma in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 100, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for indirect losses, consequential losses, lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable EU or Danish law
  • Breach of our obligations under the GDPR in relation to your personal data

11Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

This disclaimer does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under EU and Danish law, which cannot be waived or limited by agreement.

12Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss, or expense arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your misuse of the Services; or (c) your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

This indemnification does not apply to the extent the claim is due to our own negligence or breach of these Terms.

13Governing law and dispute resolution

13.1 Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Danish law. Mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence apply where they provide a higher level of protection.

13.2 Dispute resolution

We encourage you to first contact us at [email protected] to resolve any disputes informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be brought before the ordinary Danish courts, with the Copenhagen City Court as the court of first instance, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.

14Changes to Terms or Services

We reserve the right to change these Terms or the Services at any time. Material changes are communicated with at least 30 days' notice via email, WhatsApp, or the Website.

If you do not accept the amended Terms, you can cancel your account before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

15Term and termination

These Terms apply for as long as you use the Services. You can cancel your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms, with reasonable notice where practicable. In the case of serious violations, we may terminate access with immediate effect.

On termination, you can request a copy of your personal data in accordance with your rights under the GDPR (right to data portability, Art. 20). We delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

16General provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. The invalid provision will be amended to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid.

Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.

We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to a third party, provided it does not diminish your rights as a consumer. You may not assign your rights without our prior written consent.
